The BUG (Bringing up Grades) Program – The Kiwanis International program was initiated when the Sunrise Kiwanis Club merged with our club and works with several area elementary schools. The BUG program is designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. Students are recognized with certificates, buttons, and pizza or other food treats. Kiwanis members can serve as mentors and motivators.
